  1. That is absolutely horrifying.

    I find a lot of the newer metro stations are convenient in that there are glass doors between you and the tracks, only opening when the train has already stopped. While old stations — and this goes for all over the world from New York to Tokyo to Hong Kong — are just a lot of empty air where someone can easily fall in. It’s just plain bad design.
